After searching the web for a contractor to replace our old deck that was sinking, My Wife and I found the Decks-R-Us website. We were impressed on the selection and styles offered and we made our decision to have our new deck done by Deck-R-Us. I snapped a few pictures did some measurements of our old deck and email them to Decks-R-Us. We had a solid estimate and a start date for the job. Decks-R-Us took care of all the necessary paperwork and permits. Our Deck was finished in just 2 days.

We had an existing deck on the house when we bought it but we wanted it bigger. From the in-home estimate to the last board, these guys were thorough, helpful, and courteous. I just finished staining (where the "shortcuts" tend to show through) and I was amazed at the quality! They really take pride in their work. All of the joints were perfect and the dowels in the railing are solid. I will be recommending them to my neighbors, friends, and family!

The deck passed final inspection with flying colors. I don't know if the inspector, Patrick Cook, contacted you yet, but I think he wants you guys to build him a small deck or set of stairs or something. He was impressed with your work which is just another reason that makes me feel great to have chosen your company to build our deck since I know he sees a lot decks with his inspections.

I hired Decks R Us to build a second story deck at my house. The new deck was to attach to the existing 2nd story deck. Not only is the add on seamless with the existing deck but the craftsmanship is about the best I have seen. As a power washing company that specializes in power washing and sealing decks I have worked on many decks and understand the importance of having a quality deck built that will last. I read in the paper that there were a lot of unforeseen hassles in getting a deck- permits,and such. I was interested in these guys Hassle Free Guarantee- and once I realized they took care of all that stuff, I was even more impressed. They took care of the permits, scheduling the builidng inspector...they were only my property for a few days..in-out BAM! it was done. they have not started the job yet but the quote & design process has been excellent. the owner John is a very professional & nice gentleman. he came to my home twice to make sure he knew exactly how we wanted our deck designed. his office staff is also very polite & accomodating. we would reccommend them to anyone. dane elterman
